How to File an SSI Application

Supplemental Security Income provides financial assistance to elderly, blind or disabled Americans who have little to no outside income. SSI Disability is not Social Security. Applying for SSI Disability

The process of applying for SSI disability is generally not a simple one. You might have a condition that could make it difficult or even impossible for you to work, but that does not automatically mean you will be able to receive SSI benefits.
